The official anime website has announced that Persona 4 will have a 90-min. movie. TItled Persona 4 the Animation -The Factor of Hope-, it will summarize what happened in the series and add new footage as well as the True End Episode.

The movie will be in Japanese theaters on June 9th so hopefully someone on 2ch will post summary. ^^

... So... curse my stupid curiosity... Now I kinda wanna buy Persona 4 Golden...

Yes, I've seen all the pretty bells and whistles they attached to the game. But did they bother to fix the problems of the game itself? Or are they just wasting people's time and money with shiny bells and whistles?

My first playthrough I played the MC as a nice guy. And all I got for it was being punished for every stupid stunt that Yosuke dragged me into. (Yes, I get that they're stupid teenagers and are allowed to do stupid things and such. But some people aka me, don't like to play jerks without a heart of gold when given a choice. Also if you're going to give me a choice on answers then please invest the time to give different end results.)

But during my second playthrough I discovered that the game had NO branches in the storyline until you get to the case. 1+1=2, 1+2=2, and 1+3=2 with a bonus, does not impress me.

So here's my checklist of expectations feel free to let me know if any of them are going to be addressed and fixed or just ignored.

1) Should I assume that the MC is nothing more then Yosuke's mouthpiece? (Meaning that I shouldn't bother paying attention to multiple choice questions regarding social interactions with the gang, because every answer that Yosuke would not pick for himself is WRONG?)

2) Social Link reversals: Are they back for 'everyone' since I don't understand how Yosuke can be a jerk and get kicked in the nads. While MC can be a jerk to the same people and be praised as a wonderful person. (Social link went up my @$$)

Most of us probably seen the Persona 4 the Animation related merchandise/goods that got released.  Most of it seems to be standard fare... pencil boards, wall scrolls, trading cards.  Others seem uncommon, but unique, like cups, rulers, sweatshirts. and computer keyboards.  Most of us won't ever see these goods; as most import stores don't carry some of these goods.  Others might get lucky by stumbling upon certain items in an anime con dealers' room.  And then there are some that take advantage by taking part in Group Orders or going through proxy services.

If you recall, there were special events/special cafes that released special Persona 4 themed foods and drinks in Japan, but now we have the 'perfect' product tie-in?  Should we have seen this coming, perhaps?  Now you too can attempt to make your very own Persona 4 curry... the same that should have been/could have been in Episode 8.  Miscellaneous ingredients, Dokudami Tea, and Revival Beads not included.

Atlus USA finally confirmed that they're going to release Persona 4: The Golden in N. America. The game will be out this fall.

Here is the official NA website, which is just a teaser for now. From what I've read online, there are two new VAs - Teddie is voiced by Sam Riegel (it was obvious from the P4U trailer) and Chie is now voiced by Erin Fitzgerald. Atlus USA has commented about these changes. Apparently, the voices will be the same in Golden though.

Oh, the P4G OST will be out on June 27th.
